On first encounter, you might come away with the impression that Ashes is a prickly character. The lone survivor of an accident in which all of her flock was lost, Ashes' first instinct is to roar at anyone who comes too close - but she's slowly making new friends who are bringing her out of her shell. She still has an attitude, but she also really likes pats (although she'll never admit it.) Ashes is learning that family can also be found, and that there is life after loss. However, she can't forgive Inferno yet for not being there when she needed him - if he loves to rescue folks so much, why didn't he rescue her family?
